Assistant/Associate Professor of Business Law
The candidate primary responsibilities are to teach courses in Business Law, with the possibility of teaching select Accounting and Finance courses and graduate courses. Will also participate in the continued development of the graduate and undergraduate curriculum. Should have J.D. degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school. A demonstrated record of college-level teaching is required. A record of academic writing or academic scholarship potential is expected. A demonstrated willingness to participate in departmental initiatives is also required. Should also have an ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning, the ability to work collaboratively, evidence of scholarly activity, and a commitment to public higher education. Substantial experience in legal practice with an expertise in business law is preferred. Candidates with graduate degrees and professional certifications germane to Accounting and Finance in addition to J.D. and admission to the Bar will be preferred.
