As an Oracle Programmer in our Chicago Office, you will support the operations of our existing application API’s, the PL/SQL server page applications, and the business intelligence efforts. You will provide ad-hoc query support, timely response, and resolution of emergency production questions, issues, and defects.
5-7 years detailed PL/SQL programming experience in an Oracle Object Oriented framework
5-7 years exp writing complex SQL queries against a complex data model
5-7 years exp. writing web services, packages, embedded triggers and stored procedures in an Oracle environment
Perform Oracle PL/SQL programming using Object Oriented design and programming methodologies.
Implement consumable web services.
Provide support primarily for the Oracle and MySQL databases and problem resolution.
Assist in problem resolution on database performance or stability issues.
Monitor systems (server logs and database logs).
Plan long-term database capacity and manage database extent.
Implement a high-availability MySQL cluster to support websites.
Write reports using SQL.
Plan and execute Disaster Recovery (a plus).
Secondary Linux kernel support and system administration (a plus).
