Its end-to-end value chain presencenencompasses onshore and offshores wind turbines design, manufacturing,ninstallation as well as cutting-edge service solutions.nn nnPosition Summary: nnAnnexciting opportunity to further your career demonstrating service excellencenand integrity in the wind service operations field. nn nnThe WindnService Technician must perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, partnreplacement, and retrofits as necessary to maintain quality and availabilitynfor our customer.  Must maintain safety and professionalism and keepnaccurate and detailed records of parts used and work performed. nTechnicians report to the site manager and/or site lead and communicate anynneeds and  safety issues that may arise in a timely manner as part of thenSGRE team. nn nnEssential Duties & Responsibilities:nnn Ability to analyze andn resolve problems with developed problem solving skills independently andn efficiently.n Must be willing and able ton work in stressful and sometimes dangerous situations, and in all weathern conditions with varying work hours including overtime.n Must deliver quality in alln job aspects in a timely manner while maintaining safety at all times.n Willing and able to climb 85mn ladders daily. n Flexibility to work outsiden of planned ours and willing to take on additional assignments as needed ton maintain a high quality wind project for our customer.n Willing and able to travel ton assist other sites as requested and to maintain safety and technicaln certifications as required.nnn nnRequired skills, experience, and education: nnn Minimum of 1 year of windn technician experience OR equivalent wind certification.n Must demonstrate knowledgen and understanding of hydraulic schematics and electricaln schematics.  n Must have experience inn electrical, HVAC, or aviation field, or possess a renewable energyn technology certificate or equivalent.n Physically and mentally ablen to climb wind towers up to 300 feet sometimes multiple times pern day. n Must possess a high schooln diploma or equivalent.  n Required to maintain a bodyn weight of no more than 265lbs as required by safety equipmentn restrictions.n Willing to travel up to 100%.n Able to pass a physicaln examination annually administered by a medical examiner to ensure abilityn to safely perform job functions and handle the stress and physical demandsn of the position.n Must maintain a clean drivingn record and pass pre-hire and random drug screenings.n Qualified Applicants must ben legally authorized for employment in the United States.
