JAS Design-Build is currently seeking full-time Residential Interior Designer in the Seattle area (3-5 yoe of work experience excluding schooling).
Position Overview
: This is a full-time Residential Interior Design position with PTO accruing immediately, and health/dental/long-term disability/EAP/401(k)/401 (k) match available first of the month after sixty days. Semi-annual bonuses and holiday pay also a company norm! This position is 40 hours a week and will receive overtime pay for all hours over forty. Wage for this position is DOE.

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:
3 to 5 years of interior design experience, residential design, or comparable experience in a commercial, construction, or retail setting. Applicant should have four or more years of design education preferred. The ideal applicant has AutoCAD or similar software working knowledge, proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. Prior experience building and managing construction specifications, design electrical plans, sourcing interiors furnishings and detailing and specifying custom furniture/upholstery, fabric, finish detailing preferred. In addition, the applicant will exhibit the ability to multi-task, problem solve and manage 15 projects and clients at one time while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize hours and meet deadlines. We work almost exclusively for residential clients. Must have the ability to be in Seattle, on sites with clients, and partial work from home at this time. Flex car available at the office, clean driving record and valid license required to use.
Duties / Expectations: Work is of physical nature often bending and lifting up to 30lbs, driving to work sites, walking about with clients. Must have valid driver s license to use company vehicle and ability to be on-site for work. Organizational aptitude and socializing nature will fit in great with our collaborative company spirit. Our Interior Designers frequently interface directly with Creative Directors, Project Architects, Lead Carpenters, Project Managers, and our own in-house cabinet shop to create beautiful work.
