Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Huntsville, AL is currently seeking a Engineer Systems to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama on the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS) foreign military sales efforts. IBCS integrates disparate radars and weapons to construct a far more effective IAMD enterprise. IBCS delivers a single integrated air picture with unprecedented accuracy and broadens surveillance and protection areas. By implementing IBCS into their militaries, other nations will transform their IAMD capabilities in a manner consistent with the U.S. Army.
In this role, the selected candidate performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
The candidate will support the SE IPT lead and deputy with Control Account Management reporting and material support/tracking. Providing status and coordination with sub-IPT teams
Basic Qualifications:
Engineer Systems: 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters
Principal: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
Secret Clearance

Cost Accounting experience
