Senior Counsel
The candidate under the supervision of Chief Legal Officer, provides legal representation, consultation and advice to FPI and Medical Service Plan (MSP) participating entities on a variety of health care, corporate, compliance, privacy and legal issues. Analyzes and drafts contracts and other legal documents; researching, analyzing, advising and reporting on relevant federal and state laws and regulations. This position also supports and lends expertise to the company’s information privacy and security program. Should have completed Graduation from an accredited law school approved by the American Bar Association, and admission to the state Bar of Maryland OR admitted to another state Bar with ability to practice as in-house corporate counsel in Maryland. Must have 7-10 years experience in the practice of law specializing in healthcare law. Should have strong knowledge of MS Office Suite. (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access). Must have strong interpersonal communication skills.
