What will you do as a Senior Software Engineer - Advertising Technology
Contribute to the architecture and development of the digital platform and tools to support key e-commerce and cloud technology initiatives.
You will build and enhance core tools that are needed to support development, testing and integrations leading to Continuous Delivery.
Lead the design and development of key technology initiatives
Strong demonstrated ability to work directly with technical leads, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
Demonstrate a creative and innovation-driven ability to articulate engineering design patterns related to scale, performance, security, and usability
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience
3 or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
6 or more years of relevant professional experience
Experience building Digital Advertising systems or other high-velocity, time critical systems
4 or more years' hands-on experience implementing and deploying modern web development solutions including Java, JavaScript, Scala, REST web services, HTTP, NoSQL databases (e.g. cockroachDB, Cassandra), GCP, AWS, JSON, Linux
Proficiency with Object Oriented Design principles and patterns
Solid experience with JavaScript/Node.js
Experience with React/React Native
Experience using distributed version control systems, such as Git
Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira
Proficiency with UNIX/Linux command line
Experience in understanding different integration patterns and their usage during testing
Experience with modern web technologies and NoSQL
Familiarity with reactive extensions and functional programming
Agile development practical experience
