Senior Manager, Provider Contracts
The candidate reports to the VP of Corporate Contracting and Associate General Counsel, and will work closely with each state market to manage the form and content of transportation provider agreements (TPAs). The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage concurrent assignments, direct contract reviews and negotiations, and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment. Contract Template Development and Maintenance -- Work with assigned staff attorney(ies) and Operations to develop and maintain state specific transportation provider agreements and associated forms and documents. Monitor relevant federal, state and local regulations regarding transportation services to ensure transportation provider agreements include up-to-date regulatory requirements, as well as include protective and beneficial contract language and terms. Transportation Provider Negotiation -- Work with local Operations and other internal stakeholders to review and respond to transportation provider requests to edit a TPA template. Interact closely with transportation providers at various levels (owner, CEO, in-house or outside counsel) to explain TPA terms and requirements and negotiate acceptable alternative language. Legal Web-Portal Maintenance -- Work with an assigned administrative assistant to update and maintain each state repository of TPAs and related documentation to ensure local Operations always have most up-to-date transportation provider contracting packages available. Transportation Provider Credentialing -- Work with local Operations and Credentialing staff to review and address provider/driver/vehicle credentialing issues consistent with terms of applicable TPAs. Request for Proposals -- Work with proposal team to draft RFP compliant sample TPAs and provider manuals to align with State Medicaid RFP requirements. Ad hoc Request from Operations -- Work closely with operations and other internal stakeholders on any special TPA related requests and projects.
