(Dr. has practiced here for 30 years.)rnrnABOUT THE GROUPrnCardiac Laboratory: Number of Testing Rooms: 12rnDaily Number of Noninvasive Cardiac Testing Cases:rnEchocardiograms 15-18 Dobutamine Stress Echo's 1-3rnStress Tests (Regular) 1-3 Stress Echo ___1-3rnCardiolite's (Nuclear) 10-15rn(Lexiscans, Adenosine,rnDobutamine Cardiolites) Mugascans - Presently done throughrnNuclear Med as resting scansrnMonthly Number of Invasive/Interventional Cases:rnCardiac Catheterizations u00a1V 130rnPCI's/ coronary angioplasty u00a1V 40rnOpen Heart Surgery - 10rnTransesophageal Echo Cardiograms per month, with 3D - 20rnThe Cardiac Lab sees approx. 1300 patients per month.rnrnNon-Invasive Cardiologistrn- Must be ECHO boarded (The Cardiovascular Testing Department is accredited by IAC)rn- Preferred nuclear boarded but will not be billing for nuclear testing (Radiology bills but we anticipate that a boarded nuclear cardiologist could do peer review and have oversight over the radiologistsrnreading nuclear cases.)rn- Preferred TEE boardedrn- Will run Cardiac Testing lab and read Echo's. Anticipated to be in Cardiac Testing for . day (7a-12p) every day reading echo's while stress tests are taking place.rn- Anticipate working in outlying clinics 2 times a month.rn- Patient volume u00a1V expectation of seeing 15 patients in the office (1/2 day) or 30 patients if in office full-day.rnrnCardiology Equipment Available:rnCardiac and Vascular Studies: performed on Phillips iE33'srnStress Tests and Dobutamines: Cardiac Science u00a1V Quinton (New Philips Stress Systems have beenrnPurchased)rnPhilips Zymed HolterrnParks Flo-lab for Segmental pressures, PVR's, ABI's, TBI'srnApply Event recorders and provide patient information for various Event companiesrn* All technicians are registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographersrn* Cardiac Exams, Inc. u00a1V Currently read EKG's, Stress Tests, Holters, and Echos.rnConsist of 7 Physicians (Family Practitioners and Internists) on our medical staffrnEcho Levels Needed:rn1) 3 months cumulative duration of training - 75 exams performed150 exams interpretedrn2) 6 months - 150 exams performed 300 exams interpretedrn3) 12 months - 300 exams performed 750 exams interpretedrnrnEmployment Opportunity:rnSalary Range: Option #1: Base salary of $406,000 (for those just completing training) with additional compensation for experience with a guaranteed salary for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target. (5% less for those not yet boarded, switched immediately when become boarded)rnOption #2: Base salary of 518,000 (75%tile) guaranteed for one year and then switched to production contract. (5% less for those not yet boarded, switched immediately when become boarded)rnVacation: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick days (29 PTO days). Additional 5 days when producing 75%tile wRVUsrnCME/Books & Journals: 5 days and up to $5,000.rnRenewal contracts will be wRVU production based:rnContract also includes:rnDeferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $18,000 year before taxes. No matching.rnRetirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $18,000 year before taxes under age 50 and $24,000 for over age 50. Medical Center matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay.rnMoving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving companyrnMalpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $1,000,000, per claim/$3,000,000, aggregaternHealth Insurance: physician pays small premium, deducted from paycheckrnLiquidated Damages: 70 mile and 2 year non-compete clause or liquidated damages of one year salaryrnMedical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment)rnCommunity emergency response plan (CERP) - pay for call - explained by CFOrnSign on Bonus - $50,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2 years)rnrnIt is a family-oriented community with a service area of 120,000.
