Job Details:
This position is responsible for leading a team of compliance professionals consisting of 6 Team Members: 3 Managers and 3 Specialists. This team is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the global compliance program, including responsibilities related to policies and training that help foster and sustain a global culture of compliance and business integrity, while supporting and advancing business objectives and growth. This position reports directly to the Chief Compliance Officer for the company.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: leading and managing the team and the policy management system; oversight of the social compliance program; management of the gifts and hospitality disclosure process and conflicts of interest disclosure process; oversight of Tyson’s 3rd party due diligence program and routine sanction screening program; organization and preservation of governing Ethics and Compliance training curriculum; conducting compliance risk assessments; and content development/continuous improvement for Tyson’s Code of Conduct.
REQUIREMENTS: Education: Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor s degree or equivalent. Specialized training and/or compliance certification will be accorded preference.
Experience: 12 plus years of industry experience or Compliance experience. Computer Skills: Standard computer skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Travel: 12 or more domestic trips per year and two or more international trips.
