Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science plus five years’ experience;
-or-
Bachelor's Degree in related field appropriate for the assignment plus six years of experience.
Required skills:
• Expert in XAML with WPF (C#)
• Hands-on Experience with Telerik UI Controls for WPF
• Proven ability to apply the MVVM pattern and explain how MVVM works together with XAML and WPF.
• Experience with Web Services creation, support, and how to best consume Web Services from an MVVM patterned application.
• Knowledge of best practices regarding DataBinding with XAML and WPF.
• Experience with event routing.
• Experience with Linq and Entity Framework
Preferred skills:
• Experience with .Net Framework 4.0/4.5, WCF, SQL SERVER 2008 R2
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Experience with TFS
• Basic knowledge of networks and security, including firewall and proxy settings.
• Familiarity with Power Scheduling and Trading business processes.
