Job Title: Senior QA Engineer
Job Duties: Oversee the design and execution of test cases. Develop test plans, manage code and troubleshoot build related issues. Perform Manual Testing and Automated Testing of Web, Database, Client Server and Mobile Applications using Quality Center or Selenium. Work with Developers, Business Analysts and User Community to understand the complete requirements for functional, integration and database testing. Design and execute test cases for diverse suite of services. Develop and maintain automated tests to reduce duplication of effort and enhance product confidence using SOAP UI. Develop test plans from functional requirements and design specifications for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Use version control systems (svn, cvs, etc) to manage code (automated tests) and troubleshoot build related issues. Build and deploy process using tools such as Hudson or Cruise Control, and Maven, or Ant. Use SQL to write queries on back end database. Verify the test results. Use defect tracking tools such as Jira to log, manage, resolve and report bugs/defects. Perform testing using QTP, SOAP UI, Quality Center, Rally, Rational Suite, and RADAR. Utilize .Net, C#, C , Java, XML, SQL, Visual Studio, Rally, SOAP UI, Jira, Agile Work Flow Methods. Perform automated testing using automated tools including SOAP UI and Quick Test Professional. Will work in Chantilly, VA and/or various client sites throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
Salary: $117,500/year
