I am creating an osX / native Mac desktop app that acts as a browser of sorts for digital advertisers with a few bells and whistles... a user will not be able to enter in an address but instead “bookmark” each ad account’s url so they can switch back and forth a few extra bells & whistles with the Facebook API.
Essentially it will be a way for digital advertisers to bounce around multiple ad accounts more easily then clicking browser tabs get notifications when advertising metrics go up or down more than a certain percent the user sets...
Basic functionality:
Users create a login to the SaaS app on the website and pay, then they can download the native app and login again.
Once they login to the native app, it immediately gives them the option to open Facebook ads manager or google ads manager
Once they open the ads manager, we guide them to open up the page for each ad account they want to add as a bookmark on the left hand side, they click save as bookmark, then they can label the bookmark and upload an image if they want to.
The bookmarked ad accounts will always be visible on the left hand side and when a user clicks the bookmark, it opens up the ad account as an iframe
Bells & whistles:
We then also need to integrate the app to the actual APIs for both ad platforms because we need to be able to pull data in letting the user create a unified dashboard of all their accounts data & set notifications when a particular ad account’s or campaign’s metrics goes up or down too much.
In summary:
Think the left hand navigation of slack with the different tiles of workspaces (being able to move them around & such) but in this case they are bookmarked ad account URL iframes a very simple data dashboard feature pulling data from the APIs notifications when metrics go up or down by certain percents
