The candidate will fulfill responsibilities in three areas throughout the 2015-16 academic year: administrative and teaching responsibilities in the Experiential Education curriculum, including teaching Externship I both semesters; and visiting externship sites and conducting outreach to potential externship supervisors in Atlanta; academic support responsibilities, including developing a writing specialist program to work with students who need targeted academic support to improve their writing skills and providing Bar preparation support on the Atlanta campus during the spring semester; and responsibilities relating to the extracurricular Trial Advocacy Program, including acting as faculty supervisor for the Mercer Advocacy Council and overseeing the trial advocacy teams. Teach a section of Introduction to Counseling as part of the Fall Intro week curriculum. Must have a J.D. degree from an accredited college or university.
