The Quality Risk Manager plays a crucial role in managing national QRM initiatives.
Work You’ll Do:
Quality Processes:
Lead and summarize agenda items for periodic network calls with input from National QRM and others
Apply Quality and Risk Management related processes, procedures and policies to daily activities and strategic initiatives
Understands the Advisory strategy and directly supports initiatives, co-leading/leading efforts
Lead/manage specific quality and risk management efforts required by firm and DTTL policies (e.g., QRM capability and maturity assessment, Culture of Quality Surveys, practice reviews)
Coordinate QRM communications within the Network and across the Business
Lead and manage National QRM initiatives
Approves business requirements and challenges through discussion to limit misinterpretation
Possesses skills to effectively ask questions to remove ambiguity from requirements
Develop, present and socialize recommendations for issue remediation and process improvements, captures feedback for evaluation
Supports and trains others
Ability to articulate from different perspectives, contrasting views and approaches
Directs creation of Tableau reports to support Operations broadly.
Lead and organize training efforts for engagement teams
Interacts with QRMs, Sr Managers, and Partner/Principals or Managing Directors on matters to identify and document enhancement of existing QRM processes and escalate to National QRM
Oversees and establishes goals and timeline for training
Risk Review Application (DAP) Knowledge & Processes
Collect common input/feedback and summarize DAP priority recommendations for future enhancement consideration
Oversight of UAT deployment schedule and liaising with ITS
Signs off on UAT sessions and approves actions with ITS
Manages and coordinates user group training efforts with DAP enhancements and UAT (e.g., Engagement Leader, QAR, engagement team)
People/Teaming:
Works under broad direction, collaborating with others, with latitude to determine methods and procedures for a combination of routine and non-routine assignments
Collaborate to coach/provide guidance and oversee progress of others and provides input to coaches and others completing performance snapshots
Provides technical leadership to team members on projects related to quality and risk management
Oversees tasks and analyses and provides insights on projects related to quality and risk management
Considers additional opportunities to enhance their brand and represent QRM within the Advisory practice
Coordinate and contribute to the development of learning materials
Coordinates new and experienced hire QRM onboarding requirements
Qualifications:
At least five years related work experience.
Keen ability to communicate clearly, efficiently and effectively
Proven written communication skills
Strong ability to engage through listening
Is responsive and proactive, responds timely to inquiries, requests, and complaints and coordinates appropriate follow-up
Proven ability to utilize resources available to develop thorough problem- solving skills and is collaborative
Has the ability to be detail oriented as well as thinking broadly about tasks performed
Ability to seek feedback and engage in the talent performance processes
Ability to Adapt to change and shift focus easily
Prioritization skills, comfortable working under deadlines
Attentive to deadlines and manages own schedule
Bachelor’s Degree Required.
