Job Overview

Duties

• Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances, within the office setting.



• Review title reports and draft or review loan documents, contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements.



• Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate smooth real estate transactions.



• Review disbursement ledgers, sign checks, and deliver a professional, engaging experience to clients.



• Develop and cultivate business relationships and conduct training for potential clients on relevant real estate law topics.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar.



• Excellent and prompt verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with others.



• Self-starter with a strong work ethic, capable of community involvement and achieving results.



• Growth-minded individual with a focus on residential real estate; prior experience preferred but training provided for the right candidate.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of South Carolina.

Skills

• Strong understanding of residential and commercial real estate closing procedures.



• Ability to address client questions and concerns with professionalism and clarity.



• Proven ability to cultivate business relationships and drive firm growth.
