Duties

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution, including drafting and responding to written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions, prepare and argue motions, and participate in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Develop case strategy, manage day-to-day litigation responsibilities, and assist with trial preparation for high-stakes matters.
• Communicate directly with clients to provide strategic counsel and regular case updates while collaborating across practice groups.

Requirements

• Admission to practice law in Florida is required.
• 3-4+ years of litigation experience, specifically in Employment, Professional Liability, and/or HOA matters.
• Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.

Skills

• Experience handling depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Proven ability to manage matters independently with a self-motivated and proactive approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills and capacity for cross-office collaboration on complex matters.
