Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level to senior Commercial Contracts and Technology Associate to join its team, with Raleigh as the preferred office location. The firm is also open to candidates based in Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Dallas, or New York. This role offers active mentoring and opportunities for increasing responsibility.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including manufacturing, supply, distribution, and services agreements.



• Manage consulting, development, collaboration, reseller, and licensing agreements while leveraging legal AI technologies.



• Work closely with experienced lawyers to assume increasing levels of client contact and responsibility.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.



• Technologically savvy with experience using general AI tools and a willingness to learn legal AI technologies.



• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.



• Ability to work independently as a self-starter and effectively as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Proficiency in commercial contract law and negotiation.

• Ability to navigate complex issues across multiple regions and industry sectors.
