A law firm seeks a highly motivated attorney with over 10 years of experience in litigation, municipal law, and insurance defense to join their office in Clinton Township, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have substantial civil litigation experience and the ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.

Duties

• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, motion practice, and discovery.
• Conduct depositions, legal research, and writing.
• Engage in negotiations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in litigation, municipal law, and/or insurance defense.
• Current Michigan Bar admission in good standing.
• Ability to manage client relationships and work independently.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Education

• JD from an ABA-approved law school with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Current Michigan Bar admission.

Skills

• Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and electronic discovery platforms.
