Job Overview

Duties

• Manage a caseload involving accident investigations, litigation, and trial preparation for product liability and transportation matters.



• Take and defend depositions, and draft and argue dispositive motions in state and federal courts.



• Direct case strategy and day-to-day litigation activities while reporting to clients and collaborating with in-house counsel.



• Work closely with partners and paralegals to build meaningful client relationships and grow a sustainable practice.

Requirements

• Two or more years of civil defense litigation experience, including experience taking depositions or appearing in court.



• Licensed to practice in Missouri or Illinois.



• Demonstrated experience or a strong interest in product liability and transportation litigation.



• Exceptional analytical and legal writing skills with a commitment to providing unparalleled client service.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar license in Missouri or Illinois.

Skills

• Strong work ethic and exemplary attention to detail.



• Ability to manage complex matters and interface effectively with clients.



• Proficiency in dispositive motion practice in state and federal courts.
