Duties

• Represent foreign nationals in deportation or removal proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review.
• Attend adjustment and naturalization interviews before USCIS.
• Prepare waiver applications, family-based petitions, and adjustment of status applications.
• File appeals and petitions for review, and draft supporting briefs and motions.
• Prepare and file custody applications and motions related to Special Immigrant Juvenile status.
• Handle asylum, U-Visa, T-Visa, DACA applications, and related petitions.
• Conduct legal research and draft memorandums as directed.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of immigration law experience.
• Spanish language skills strongly preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar.
