A law firm seeks a junior to mid-level associate with two to five years of experience to join its healthcare compliance team in Washington, DC. The candidate should have a background in advising life sciences clients, including pharmaceutical, biotech, and device companies.

Duties

• Provide legal advice on federal healthcare program antikickback statutes and state equivalents.
• Advise on compliance with the False Claims Act.
• Ensure adherence to PhRMA and/or AdvaMed Code compliance.
• Assist with government price reporting and discount programs.

Requirements

• Two to five years of relevant experience.
• Strong verbal and writing skills.
• Prior law firm or in-house experience preferred.
• Membership in the DC Bar or eligibility to waive in.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active DC Bar membership or eligibility to waive in.

Skills

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with life sciences clients.
