Job Overview

A law firm seeks a senior Corporate and Entrepreneur Partner in Dallas, TX, or any of their market locations. This role offers full autonomy and flexibility, allowing the partner to maintain and grow their existing practice while leveraging the firm's resources to better serve entrepreneurial clients.

Duties

• Maintain and grow a portable book of corporate and entrepreneurial clients.
• Serve as outside general counsel to founders, executives, and closely held businesses.
• Advise on entity formation, structuring, restructurings, governance, ownership dynamics, operating agreements, and shareholder matters.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, strategic partnerships, and founder-level arrangements.
• Advise on growth events, including financings, acquisitions, divestitures, and exits.

Requirements

• Established corporate partner with a meaningful, portable book of business.
• Business-minded and comfortable serving as a client's primary legal advisor.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong reputation advising founders, entrepreneurs, and closely held businesses.
• Ability to work autonomously and leverage firm infrastructure effectively.
