A law firm seeks an experienced Real Estate Attorney to provide ad hoc legal support for real estate transactions and clients. This role is based in Houston, TX, with flexible remote work arrangements available for qualified applicants.

Duties

• Draft and review real estate contracts, purchase agreements, leases, and other property-related documents.



• Conduct title examinations and resolve title issues to ensure clear ownership.



• Provide legal counsel on zoning, land use, and property development matters.



• Assist with commercial and residential real estate closings and transactions.



• Research and analyze real estate laws and regulations in relevant jurisdictions.



• Advise clients on the legal implications of real estate transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate law.



• Strong knowledge of Texas property laws and regulations.



• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.



• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
