Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Health Care Regulatory Associate to join its national Health Care Practice Group in Dallas, TX. The role involves advising health care providers and industry participants on complex regulatory and compliance matters, leveraging a collaborative, team-based environment.

Duties

• Advise clients on federal and state regulatory matters, including fraud and abuse, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and corporate practice of medicine.



• Conduct health care regulatory due diligence for transactions of varying sizes, identifying issues and communicating findings to deal teams.



• Support clients on provider licensure, government payor enrollment, billing, reimbursement, and telehealth compliance.



• Supervise and train junior associates while managing multiple matters independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of relevant experience in health care regulatory and compliance law.



• Substantial experience counseling hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, and physician organizations.



• Proven ability to manage regulatory audits, investigations, and overpayment matters.



• Experience supervising and training junior associates is required.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice.



• Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the hiring office is located is required as a condition of employment.
