A law firm seeks an experienced Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship Attorney in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is ideal for a skilled advocate who excels in courtroom settings and possesses expertise in estate planning, probate, and guardianship matters. The attorney will manage high-impact cases with comprehensive support from the firm's administrative and billing teams.

Duties

• Handle estate planning, probate, and guardianship cases, both contested and uncontested.
• Lead trials, hearings, mediations, and depositions in Texas courts.
• Develop and implement strategic case plans and negotiation tactics.
• Provide compassionate and effective counsel to clients.
• Manage a diverse caseload across multiple regions and counties.
• Supervise paralegals and support staff to ensure accuracy in legal documents.

Requirements

• Active member of the Texas State Bar with at least 2 years in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and guardianship.
• Proven courtroom experience in Texas, including First-Chair advocacy.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities.
• Experience in supervising legal support staff.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with legal technology platforms and Texas e-filing systems.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

• Strong organizational and docket management skills.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in Clio, TxDoc, Wealth Counsel, and Google Workspace.
