Duties

• Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances, within the office setting.



• Review title reports and draft or review loan documents, contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements.



• Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate smooth real estate transactions.



• Deliver a professional client experience, addressing questions and concerns while reviewing disbursement ledgers and signing checks.



• Develop and cultivate business relationships and conduct training for potential clients on relevant real estate law topics.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar.



• Experience in closing real estate transactions, with a preference for residential real estate expertise.



• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with others.



• Self-starter with a strong work ethic, growth mindset, and capacity for community involvement.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in South Carolina.
