Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Philadelphia, PA office. This role offers a flexible work environment, including full remote, hybrid, or onsite options, within a collegial and collaborative team focused on general liability, professional liability, and toxic tort litigation.

Duties

• Manage and litigate general liability, professional liability, and toxic tort matters from inception through resolution.



• Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with superior written and oral communication skills.



• Conduct legal research and analyze case files using LexisNexis and case management systems.



• Collaborate with senior attorneys and mentors to develop litigation strategies and expand professional experience.



• Track billable hours and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Requirements

• Current and active Pennsylvania Bar membership in good standing.



• Up to 7 years of litigation experience preferred, with Pennsylvania experience valued but open to all relevant candidates.



• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a high-volume practice.



• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and LexisNexis.



• Familiarity with case/file management systems and the ability to track billable hours.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
