Duties

- Conduct legal research and analyze regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with clients and service providers to facilitate fund closings.
- Prepare and review disclosure documents and investor communications.
- Support due diligence processes for real estate acquisitions.
- Identify and resolve legal issues related to fund operations.
- Monitor changes in laws affecting real estate funds.

Requirements
- A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in Washington, D.C.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a global law firm focusing on real estate funds.
- Experience with open-end and closed-end fund structures.
- Strong knowledge of securities laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex legal documents.
- Proficiency in using AI technologies responsibly.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to lead and mentor junior associates.
