A law firm seeks a Family Law Attorney for a full-time, on-site position in Virginia Beach, VA. The attorney will manage a diverse caseload involving divorce, custody, support, and protective orders from intake through resolution. Duties

• Conduct client consultations and develop case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and respond to discovery.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court hearings.

• Maintain accurate case files and client communication.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and ethical rules.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in family law preferred.
• Active license to practice law in Virginia, in good standing.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic plans.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing motions.
• Experience in depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong client communication and time management skills.
• Commitment to professional ethics and teamwork.
• Other language proficiency is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Virginia.
