A law firm seeks a Professional Liability Attorney to join its litigation team in New York, NY. This role offers a hybrid or remote work arrangement within a collaborative and collegial environment. Duties

• Manage and litigate professional liability, general liability, and toxic tort cases from inception through resolution.



• Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with superior written and oral communication skills.



• Conduct legal research and analyze case law using LexisNexis and other legal databases.



• Track billable hours and manage case files using established case/file management systems.



• Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment, multitasking effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements

• Current and active Bar membership in good standing in PA, NJ, NY, DE, MD, DC, and/or CT.



• Prior professional liability litigation experience is preferred, though candidates with relevant transferable skills are encouraged to apply.



• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.



• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in at least one of the following jurisdictions: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, or Connecticut.
