A law firm seeks an experienced Social Security Disability Attorney to join its Philadelphia, PA office. This role allows attorneys to focus on advocacy and case management rather than business development, providing an opportunity to make a significant impact on clients' lives while working within a high-performing, collaborative team environment.

Duties

• Represent Social Security Disability clients through all stages of their claims, from initial application to final resolution.



• Prepare clients for hearings and advocate effectively on their behalf before Administrative Law Judges.



• Develop legal strategies, prepare evidence, and build compelling cases to secure benefits for clients.



• Manage a substantial caseload while maintaining exceptional client service and communication.



• Collaborate closely with experienced case managers and support staff to efficiently move cases forward.

Requirements

• Hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and possess an active license in good standing with at least one US state bar.



• Demonstrate prior experience handling Social Security Disability hearings and managing a high-volume caseload.



• Exhibit outstanding communication, advocacy, and client relationship skills.



• Show strong writing, organizational, and case management abilities.



• Be self-motivated, performance-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced, office-based environment.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Existing Social Security Representative ID (preferred).

Skills

• Experience with cross-border matters is not required, but experience with high-volume disability claims is desired.



• Ability to build strong relationships with clients during difficult moments in their lives.



• Proficiency in legal research, evidence preparation, and hearing advocacy.
