A law firm seeks a highly qualified remote senior attorney with over 8 years of experience to join its defense-side litigation practice in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will manage a high volume of cases, negotiate settlements, and handle competing deadlines with precision.

Duties

• Manage a high volume of consumer financial services litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Negotiate settlements and manage competing deadlines while maintaining high-quality client service.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft persuasive legal writing for federal court proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal colleagues to advance case strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in defense-side litigation, preferably in consumer financial services.
• Bar admission in at least one of the following states: Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Michigan, Illinois, or Texas.
• Strong legal research, writing, and case-management skills with a track record of managing complex matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in at least one of the required states (FL, PA, VA, MI, IL, or TX).

Skills

• Experience with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) is helpful but not required.
• Familiarity with federal court litigation procedures and plaintiff-side practice is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
