A law firm seeks a Workers Compensation Attorney to join their team in Columbus, Ohio. The attorney will manage a substantial and intricate caseload from pre-litigation through trial, leveraging extensive resources and working alongside experienced trial attorneys.

Duties

• Handle cases from pre-litigation to resolution.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft expert reports.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the OH State Bar Association.
• Minimum 1+ years of workers compensation experience.
• Experience with wage and hour claims is a plus.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases through their full life cycle.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active OH State Bar License.
