A law firm seeks a talented Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Houston, TX office. This role involves working with a respected team on complex litigation, regulatory compliance, and dealership-related matters across the United States. Duties

• Manage and support commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and client communications.
• Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Advise land distributors and manufacturers on regulatory compliance matters.
• Counsel clients regarding dealer and franchise relationships.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices on sophisticated litigation and counseling matters.
• Develop direct relationships with national clients.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Commercial litigation experience required.
• Exposure to regulatory compliance, administrative law, dealership law, franchise law, or distribution law is a plus.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Licensed and in good standing in Texas.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
