A law firm seeks an experienced Tax, Trusts & Estates Attorney to join its practice in New York, NY. The successful candidate will advise high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and business owners on complex trust, estate, and tax planning matters, and support client relationships across Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey.

Duties

• Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including trusts, wills, and wealth transfer planning.
• Handle complex trust and estate administration matters.
• Counsel clients on federal and state tax issues.
• Collaborate with attorneys on tax, trust, and estate planning aspects.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support practice development.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school; LLM in Taxation preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in tax, trusts & estates law.
• Admitted in Connecticut, New York, or New Jersey.
• Strong knowledge of estate, gift, fiduciary, and income tax planning.
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and client relationship skills.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• LLM in Taxation preferred.

Certifications

• Admission to practice in Connecticut, New York, or New Jersey.
