Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its expanding Civil Litigation Practice Group in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role offers an excellent opportunity for attorneys to collaborate with experienced litigators in a supportive environment while contributing to case strategy and development.

Duties

• Represent and defend clients in hearings, trials, and depositions.



• Consult and counsel clients, providing consistent updates and comprehensive legal advice.



• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare and respond to discovery.



• Collaborate with partners and associates to build and execute successful defense strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience.



• Active membership in good standing with the Arkansas Bar.



• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.



• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute pre-trial strategy with sound judgment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Arkansas.

Skills

• Experience in commercial and/or employment litigation is preferred.



• Transferrable litigation experience is welcome.



• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.



• Strong work ethic and creative thinking capabilities.
