Job Overview

Duties

• Conduct factual investigations, manage discovery, and prepare pleadings and motions.



• Take depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and arbitrations.



• Communicate effectively with clients and articulate legal strategies and courses of action.



• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while demonstrating exceptional judgment under pressure.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience in all phases of complex commercial litigation.



• Active bar license in Delaware or Illinois, or a commitment to obtain one immediately.



• Experience in both state and federal court is preferred.



• Experience in administrative matters and arbitrations is beneficial.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in Delaware or Illinois.

Skills

• Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure.



• Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial mindset with varied backgrounds.



• Ability to second-chair at trial or arbitration (preferred but not required).
