Duties

• Handle and contribute to various construction-related litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic litigation approaches.
• Draft high-quality legal correspondence and memoranda.
• Assist with case strategy, discovery, and depositions.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and progressively take ownership of assignments.
• Continue developing specialized knowledge in construction law.

Requirements

• 3-8 years of legal experience with a background in litigation.
• Prior construction law experience is required.
• Experience in construction defect litigation is strongly preferred.
• Experience with construction bonds and liens is a plus.
• Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with initiative.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar in Florida.
