Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Labor and Employment Associate for its Dallas, TX office. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic and nationally recognized practice group.

Duties

• Participate in employment class actions, including trade secret and restrictive covenant cases.
• Conduct trials, take depositions, and cover hearings.
• Interview witnesses and handle written discovery.
• Write persuasive briefs and legal documents.

Requirements

• 4th - 6th year associate experience in labor and employment law.
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills.
• Keen attention to detail and initiative to take ownership.
• Substantive knowledge of employment laws such as Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and FMLA.
• Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization or eligible to take the exam.
• Member of the Texas State Bar or willing to become one quickly.

Education

• Strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Board Certification in Labor and Employment Law preferred.
