Duties

• Advocate for clients navigating complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation, and support cases.



• Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw and draft persuasive legal motions, contracts, and trial preparations.



• Collaborate with experienced trial attorneys to workshop cases, develop strategic litigation plans, and prepare for contested hearings.



• Provide compassionate client engagement and expert legal counsel during pivotal moments in clients' lives.

Requirements

• Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.



• Proven experience in family law practice, with a strong knowledge of procedural law and statutory regulations.



• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to advocate persuasively in court settings.



• Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research effectively and manage complex, intellectually challenging cases.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong litigation and courtroom advocacy skills.



• Experience with contract drafting, trial preparation, and legal motion filing.



• Familiarity with other practice areas such as estate planning, employment law, or personal injury law is a plus.
