A law firm seeks a Private Equity Resource Attorney in Washington, DC. This role supports the Private Equity practice group by enhancing efficiency and knowledge management, without direct client billing responsibilities.

Duties

• Manage M&A/PE data and experience input.
• Draft and manage template documents and precedents.
• Monitor legal developments and prepare updates.
• Maintain the internal practice page for the PE group.
• Coordinate legal education content for training.
• Collaborate with marketing on PE promotion strategies.
• Work with quantitative analysts on PE transactions.
• Assist with attorney requests for resources.
• Participate in practice innovation projects.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney with 7+ years in US PE corporate/transactional practice.
• Familiarity with M&A, portfolio management, and equity compensation.
• Knowledge of M&A acquisition financing and corporate matters.
• Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the United States.
