Duties

• Guide clients through all phases of the eviction process with step-by-step assistance.
• Provide legal advice via phone consultations, analyzing facts and specific legal issues.
• Conduct legal research to identify relevant cases and assess complex legal scenarios.
• Draft legal correspondence, including notices and letters, tailored to client needs.
• Prepare, review, and direct legal documents such as summons, complaints, and stipulations.

Requirements

• Hold a J.D. degree and maintain an active California Bar license.
• Demonstrate at least one year of attorney experience in a legal setting.
• Possess general knowledge of civil litigation procedures and practices.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of California.

Skills

• Preferred knowledge of the litigation process and the California Civil Code.
• Desirable experience or contact with the rental housing industry.
• Strong ability to assess case viability and provide clear legal guidance.
