Duties

• Advise U.S. clients with foreign assets on tax-efficient structures.
• Structure estate plan documents for clients with foreign beneficiaries.
• Provide guidance to clients married to non-U.S. citizens on minimizing estate and gift taxes.
• Advise on renouncing U.S. citizenship or abandoning permanent residency.
• Structure ownership in foreign businesses to minimize U.S. tax liabilities.
• Draft estate plan documents for clients with international considerations.
• Administer estates of U.S. individuals with foreign assets.
• Advise foreign clients on U.S. investments and real estate acquisitions.
• Provide pre-immigration planning advice to foreign clients.
• Draft estate plan documents for foreign clients with U.S. interests.
• Administer estates of foreign individuals with U.S. assets.
• Advise on U.S. reporting requirements for foreign investments.

Requirements

• Strong academic credentials with a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active member in good standing of the Connecticut, New York, or Florida bars.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Bar membership in Connecticut, New York, or Florida.
