Job Overview
A law firm seeks an associate with projects experience to join the Energy and Natural Resources Group in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 8 years of experience in project development, M&A, and project finance transactions, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Duties

• Represent developers, manufacturers, sponsors, investors, and lenders in transactions.
• Draft and negotiate supply agreements, EPC agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Engage in the development, construction, acquisition, financing, and operation of projects.

Requirements

• 2 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Active bar membership in the state of practice.
• Experience with renewable energy projects preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active state bar membership.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
