Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial lease agreements, amendments, and related documents.



• Advise clients on zoning, land use, and regulatory compliance issues affecting real estate transactions.



• Manage the full lifecycle of leasing matters from initial due diligence through closing and post-closing support.



• Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to resolve complex legal and contractual disputes.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in New York State with a strong track record in commercial real estate.



• Significant experience handling commercial leasing transactions for institutional or corporate clients.



• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in New York.

Skills

• Expertise in commercial lease structures, including triple net and gross leases.



• Strong analytical, negotiation, and written communication skills.



• Proficiency in legal research databases and document management systems.
