A law firm seeks a mid-level Capital Markets Associate to join its Corporate Practice Group in San Diego, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated capital markets transactions, including debt, equity, and equity-linked products, while gaining direct client exposure and mentorship from experienced practitioners.

Duties

• Handle '33 and '34 Act matters.
• Manage capital markets transactions, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.
• Oversee high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings.
• Conduct private placement offerings.
• Advise on corporate governance and SEC reporting matters.
• Address exchange listing matters.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience advising issuers and underwriters on capital markets financings.
• Proven ability to manage day-to-day client relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple projects.
• Admission to the bar in the state of application.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
