Duties

• Advise and assist clients with documentation on no-fault issues, property damage, and personal injury.
• Maintain regular contact with clients through various communication methods.
• Set up and maintain cases with insurance carriers and adjusters.
• Research legal issues related to motor vehicle and premises liability.
• Facilitate investigations to prosecute personal injury claims.
• Document case status using a paperless management system.
• Review case statuses and identify potential resolution issues.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
• Prepare demand packages and negotiate liens.
• Assist case managers in settling personal injury claims.
• Prepare legal notices and appear in hearings and mediations.

Requirements

• Admitted to the NYS Bar.
• Strong knowledge of PC applications and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral advocacy, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York State.
