A law firm seeks a Trademark and Copyright Litigation Associate to join its Washington, DC office. The role involves handling complex intellectual property disputes, including TTAB proceedings and UDRP matters, primarily within the Financial Services and Capital Markets sector. The ideal candidate will bring three to seven years of relevant experience and a strong commitment to professional excellence.

Duties

• Manage a broad range of trademark and copyright matters, including large domestic and international portfolios.



• Handle proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and resolve domain name disputes under UDRP.



• Lead anticounterfeiting enforcement efforts, including drafting and responding to demand letters.



• Provide litigation support, manage copyright registrations, and handle licensing and technology agreements.

Requirements

• Three to seven years of experience in trademark and copyright litigation is preferred.



• Trademark litigation and TTAB experience are threshold requirements for this role.



• Must hold an active bar license in the state corresponding to the office or commit to obtaining one promptly.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar license in the relevant jurisdiction.
