Duties

• Meet directly with clients and provide legal advice.
• Draft petitions, motions, objections, and pleadings.
• Appear at hearings in Bankruptcy Court.
• Handle motions to extend stay, confirmation hearings, and adversary matters.
• Communicate with trustees and opposing counsel.
• Assist with Chapter 11 Subchapter V matters.
• Develop negotiation strategies with creditors.
• Collaborate closely with partners and the legal team.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar (or about to be licensed).
• 0-5 years of experience.
• Confident in court or eager to gain courtroom experience.
• Organized and able to manage a docket.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with clients.
• Takes ownership of cases.
• Works well in a team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
